Álex Britos (26) died after receiving a stab wound to the chest. The attacker was arrested by the police when the victim’s family had gone to his house to “do justice.”
A collision of vehicles in the city of Córdoba led to a violent discussion that escalated into a fight between the drivers and a deadly end: a 26-year-old man was stabbed to death. After the murder, relatives of the victim went to look for the attacker at his house and the intervention of the Infantry Guard prevented a lynching. The 73-year-old man was arrested.
Sources from the provincial security agency confirmed that the episode occurred this Sunday night in Juan Montalvo at 3,400, in the Los Gigantes neighborhood. There, Alberto A. (73) and Álex Britos (26) staged a sinister road accident of minor proportions: they grazed their vehicles.
That “touch” ignited the spark that would have a tragic end. The discussion escalated and after an exchange of insults and fist bumps, Alberto A. went to his vehicle and took out a pipe and a knife, and attacked Britos: he stabbed him in the chest area.
After the deadly attack, the assailant escaped. But several witnesses intervened and identified the murderer: he was from the same neighborhood.
When the police forces arrived in the Los Gigantes area, Britos’s body was lying motionless on the asphalt, according to the newspaper La Voz.

The Municipal Emergency service was requested and the medical personnel tried to revive him, but it was too late: the young man had already died.
Police personnel went to the attacker’s home to arrest him, but relatives of the victim had already summoned themselves with the aim of taking justice into their own hands: they wanted to remove the murderer from his own home and lynch him.
The intervention of the Infantry Guard prevented the aggression of the relatives who wanted to “do justice” with the murderer.
In the search of the house of the man who was arrested, a 20-centimeter knife and a one-meter metal pipe were seized, with which the attacker would have perpetrated the attack.
Finally, Alberto A. was transferred to a police unit, where he was placed at the disposal of the prosecutor on duty, accused of the crime of “homicide during a fight.”
Witnesses confirmed to ElDoce TV that the protagonists of the fight were neighbors, they lived opposite each other and that the arguments between them were constant.
