Between the cost and the crowds, it has become difficult for many to get into the Disneyland Resort.

But on Thursday, a computer malfunction made it (temporarily) impossible to enter the parks.

The parks’ ticketing system experienced a roughly 30-minute outage Thursday that affected turnstiles, Disneyland officials said.

As a result, hundreds of guests converged on the central boardwalk between the Disneyland and Disney California Adventure entrances as they waited to enter.

Rebecca Saryan, a resort employee who works at Disney California Adventure, visited the park on her own time on Thursday and got caught up in the snafu.

“A cast member walked down the line and informed everyone that the main system was down and we would be sitting still for a while,” Saryan said in an interview with The Times.

Saryan said the resort’s parking system was also experiencing problems, with some people, including her sister, being allowed to park for free.

Despite the long wait to enter the park, Saryan said guests were mostly understanding.

“Everyone around me was actually pretty nice and considerate for the most part,” she said.
