Voting in Guatemala is getting closer and the streets of the country are full of political propaganda, filling every sector that is traveled.
Many political parties have already been in contention for years and have even won the presidential elections and have governed the country, such as the Partido de Avanzada Nacional (PAN) or the National Unity of Hope (UNE).
But many other organizations are facing their first electoral contest after going through the process that led them to become a party in the last four years.
This is an analysis of the political parties, based on public information and that provided by each of the organizations through an electronic form and interviews:
