Climate change is upon us, with reports highlighting the dramatic need to curb carbon emissions to reduce the devastation to ecosystems and people.

Studies and warnings from scientists often point to a collective need for change among industries, governments and ordinary citizens.

While some may feel overwhelmed, or like they can’t do anything to make an impact, experts suggest otherwise.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says that if individuals choose low-carbon transportation alternatives like cycling, walking or public transport, it could divert two tons of carbon dioxide per person annually. This corresponds to 4.1 barrels of used oil.

When we consider how much of an impact one person can have, we want to know how you are trying to tackle the climate crisis.
