Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., and hello employees safely departed Israel on Sunday, a day after being pressured to shelter in place as Hamas launched a barrage of 1000’s of rockets in a lethal shock assault on Israel, a spokesperson for the senator mentioned.
“Senator Booker and accompanying employees had been in Jerusalem when Hamas launched their assaults in opposition to Israel on Saturday, and sheltered in place for his or her security,” Maya Krishna-Rogers, a spokesperson for Booker, mentioned in an announcement. “We’re grateful that Senator Booker and our colleagues had been in a position to safely depart Israel earlier at this time.”
