“Nico” Leguizamón (25) was a member of the Evita Movement and had two sons.
Ariel Lisandro Leguizamón (25) was “Nico” to everyone who knew him in Rosario. This Sunday he was at the door of his house, in the southern zone, cutting firewood to cook a disco chicken for dinner, when three motorcycles passed by, with two hooded occupants on each one, and began to shoot: the victim received the minus two bullets.
The young man became the 130th victim of a homicide so far this year in the entire department.
“Nico” was a member of the Evita Movement. In a community kitchen of this group he used to be in charge of preparing the homemade bread. He was in a relationship and had two sons.

“Last night they killed Ariel Lisandro Leguizamón, ‘Nico’, a kid without evil that I’ve known since 2015 when he started preparing homemade bread at the Luz Esperanza Vida community center,” said Mariano Romero, lawyer and candidate for councilor.
“All that goodness, all that happiness, they took us away last night. We are tired, we need to turn around. Start living without fear of another kid being killed every day. Hugs to heaven Nico!”, he completed.
“He didn’t take drugs, he didn’t smoke. He only thought about his home, his son, his family. He was a healthy boy who didn’t mess with anyone, who fucked all day,” his mother lamented through tears.
In addition, he complained that the attackers “every day start shooting and kill those they want.”

The crime of “Nico” was recorded around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, in the Matheu neighborhood. Three motorcycles stopped in front of his house and shot.
The young man was transferred in a car to the Clemente Álvarez Emergency Hospital. He had two bullet wounds in the chest and in the ribs. He died when he was being operated on, at 10:30 p.m.

The case is being investigated by the intentional homicide prosecutor on duty in Rosario, Patricio Saldutti, who ordered the survey of the security cameras in that area that aim to determine the mechanics of the act and identify the aggressors.
With this new murder, the Rosario department registers 130 homicides so far this year. In the month of May, there were already 29 in 28 days.

The crime of Miguel Ángel Torrén’s brother
On Saturday night, José Sixto Torrén (42), brother of the captain of the Argentinos Juniors club, Miguel Ángel Torrén, was killed with five shots.
It happened when the victim was at his home, on Calle 27 de Febrero at 7700, in the Godoy neighborhood, where at least four people, who arrived at the scene on two motorcycles, called his name and shot him.

As a result of the injuries suffered, the victim died at the scene, where the investigators found five jacketed pods and another three served, which were sent to an expert, according to spokesmen for the Regional Prosecutor’s Office of the Second Circumscription.
This is the fourth brother of the soccer player who was the victim of a homicide in Rosario in the last 13 years.
