Leigha Kissinger, 14, raced her 4-year-old sister to security earlier this week, when a person entered their house carrying a shotgun in an incident caught on surveillance video.
“I sort of simply grabbed [my sister] and took her to my room simply to maintain us each secure and I locked my door,” Kissinger, who lives in Marion County, Florida, informed FOX 35.
Kissinger appeared out the window anticipating to see her grandmother when a person with a gun knocked on their door.
After the sisters, who had been house alone, ran to Kissinger’s room, surveillance video reveals the person, who was later recognized as a neighbor, enter the house and stroll round carrying the shotgun.

The person carrying the gun knocked on the door then entered the house. (FOX 35)
Kissinger mentioned he was scared off by the household canine who will be seen barking within the video.
“It was very scary as a result of I don’t know what’s in that gun,” Kissinger informed the station. “I don’t know what he’s going to do. I don’t know if he’s going to come back in right here and discuss to me or simply shoot me. There’s no telling what he would’ve executed.”

Kissinger phoned her mom whereas she and her sister had been hiding.
Deputies arrived on the scene shortly after, telling the person to “drop the shotgun.”
The household says they don’t plan on urgent expenses towards the neighbor, who Kissinger mentioned she has solely ever mentioned howdy to in passing.
