The Lee County Sheriff’s Workplace Main Crimes Unit detectives have been alerted to a thrift retailer in North Fort Meyers after a cranium was situated inside on Saturday.
Deputies say the patron, who occurred to be an anthropologist, observed the cranium within the Halloween part and realized it was an actual human cranium.
After additional investigation, detectives on scene believed the cranium to be human as properly.

The shop proprietor mentioned the cranium was situated in a storage unit that was bought years in the past.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Workplace is now working together with the District 21 Medical Examiner’s Workplace to facilitate additional testing of the cranium.
