Indonesia launches China-backed ‘Whoosh’ high-speed rail line

JAKARTA – Indonesian President Joko Widodo on Monday inaugurated a US$7.3 billion ($10 billion) high-speed rail line connecting the nation’s capital with the town of Bandung, a Chinese language-backed mission that has been marred with issues.
