Military spokesman Daniel Hagari mentioned it will take hours for the drones to achieve Israeli airspace.

The Israeli army says Iran has launched various drones at Israel and it’ll take hours for them to reach.

This comes virtually two weeks after an Israeli assault on the Iranian consulate in Syria killed seven members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

“Iran launched UAVs from its territory in the direction of the territory of the State of Israel,” Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari mentioned late on Saturday.

“We’re very alert and prepared,” he added, talking in a televised tackle and saying it will take a number of hours for the drones to achieve Israeli airspace.

Israel has been on heightened alert for the reason that assault on Damascus on April 1, though the nation has not commented on the assault. Iran has vowed revenge and a retaliatory assault is anticipated.

Earlier on Saturday, Iranian forces seized a container ship linked to Israel close to the Strait of Hormuz.

President Benjamin Netanyahu mentioned on Saturday that Israel was ready for a “direct assault from Iran”.

And Protection Secretary Yoav Gallant mentioned Israel was intently monitoring “a deliberate assault” in opposition to Iran and its allies within the area.
