A 20-year-old Mexico resident has pleaded responsible to smuggling seven migrants into the U.S. illegally by means of sewer pipes in southern California, federal prosecutors say. 

Kevin Noe Campos Villa now faces a possible 10 years in jail and a $250,000 tremendous following his arrest in January, throughout which a number of of the migrants he was escorting needed to be rescued from the Tijuana River by San Diego lifeguards, in response to the U.S. Lawyer’s Workplace for the Southern District of California.
