He was forcibly removed from his home yesterday in the Las Pilas de Choloma neighborhoodnorthern Honduras, with one objective: to kill him because he refused to be part of a criminal structure.

The crime against Marvin Yovani Alemán Hernández (21) has shocked the community and especially his family and friends. Described as a kind young man, full of dreams and goals, Marvin was murdered in one of the passages of the Choloman community this Thursday.

Relatives described that the body of Alemán Hernández was found lying face down a few meters from an educational center by neighbors who later alerted the police. He had bullet shots that caused his death.

The young man’s body was left in that place where the uniformed officers arrived, who cordoned off the scene until Forensic Medicine arrived, in charge of the cadaveric removal by law.

Relatives of the victim claimed that he was murdered “for refusing to belong to a criminal group.”

That end continues to be investigated by authorities. No arrests related to the crime were reported.
