Rep. Rashida Tlaib and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer remained silent after protesters in Dearborn, Michigan, who shouted “Dying to America” and “Dying to Israel” throughout an Worldwide Al-Quds Day rally had been condemned by the White Home and native leaders.

Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud publicly denounced the chants, calling them “unacceptable and opposite to the center” of Dearborn.

Dr. Mahmoud Al-Hadidi, the chairman of the Michigan Muslim Group Council, informed FOX 2 that the incident must be investigated as hate speech.

“It’s terrible for any person residing on our soil, respiratory our air, to be saying one thing like that. The shouting from the group… doesn’t symbolize any Muslim in the US.” Dr. Al-Hadidi mentioned. “It must be investigated as hate speech. Hate speech may be very harmful.”
