Morgan Wallen broke his silence on Friday, almost two weeks after he was arrested in Nashville for allegedly throwing a chair from a bar onto the roof.

“I did not really feel proper popping out publicly till I made amends with some folks,” the nation star wrote on his social media. “I’ve been in touch with the Nashville Police Division, my household and the nice folks at Chief’s. I’m not happy with my conduct and I settle for duty.”

He added: “I’ve the utmost respect for the officers who work on daily basis to maintain us all secure. So far as my tour is worried, there will probably be no change.”
