A number of inmates at a New York state jail are suing the corrections division over its choice to lock down correctional amenities throughout subsequent week’s complete photo voltaic eclipse, saying it infringes on their proper to observe their religion.

The lawsuit was filed in federal courtroom by six inmates incarcerated on the Woodbourne Correctional Facility in Woodbourne, positioned about 110 miles north of New York Metropolis.
