Azerbaijan has paraded its military via the disputed territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. The show comes weeks after Azerbaijan retook the enclave in a fast offensive that despatched 120,000 ethnic Armenians fleeing. The regional capital Khankendi, also referred to as Stepanakert, was left abandoned.

Nagorno-Karabakh was the middle of a decades-long battle between Azerbaijan and Armenia. In the course of the army parade on Wednesday, Azerbaijan’s president warned Armenia towards “revanchist sentiments” and stated that “any more it’s unwise to joke with us.”
