The Home of Representatives voted to kill a decision to censure progressive Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., on Wednesday evening.
Practically two dozen Republicans voted together with all Home Democrats to desk the decision in a last vote of 222 to 186 in favor of killing the movement with out debate.
Democrats briefly broke out into applause when the decision failed.

Tlaib had been the goal of a censure, a type a proper punishment within the Home, launched by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., over Tlaib’s feedback and actions associated to the continuing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
Greene had blamed Tlaib for a protest final month that noticed a whole lot of Gaza ceasefire demonstrators arrested after they took over the Cannon Home Workplace constructing. Greene repeatedly referred to the protest as an “rebellion” within the textual content of her decision.
After the vote Greene railed towards the 23 Republicans who opted to desk her decision, calling them “feckless.”
