Pope says Nagorno-Karabakh faces humanitarian disaster

VATICAN CITY – Pope Francis on Sunday known as for talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia to revive peace in Nagorno-Karabakh, including that the area is dealing with a humanitarian disaster.

“I’ve been following the dramatic state of affairs of the displaced individuals in Nagorno-Karabakh in latest days and I renew my name for dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia, within the hope that the talks between the events… will promote an enduring settlement that can finish contribute to the humanitarian disaster,” the Pope mentioned throughout his Sunday prayers.

Greater than 100,000 refugees have arrived in Armenia since Azerbaijan’s navy operation to regain management of Nagorno-Karabakh, the United Nations mentioned on Saturday.
