Prime Minister Edi Rama said that none of the country’s cities would have been transformed if the Socialist Party did not govern.
Rama: These days, our ninth campaign officially starts since I have the privilege of leading the SP, we have won 7 out of 8 pairs of elections losing only one in 2019, which more than we lost we were taken away, but I got it back, anyway winning the elections is one thing and quite another thing is to turn the victory of the elections into an added value for other communities, much more than the historical balance of 7 to 1 victories. Today, Albania is a completely different country in the eyes of the world. For the first time, we have been entrusted with first-hand roles, from the Presidency of the OSCE, to the seat in the United Nations, today our national relations are at the highest level, constant, active. This aspect of the transformative change that we have brought with the victories of the SP is important for the country because it means not just a radical change in our position in the outside world, but a radical change in the position of the outside world towards us, this brings with it step step by step more attention, more interest and confidence in our country to invest work, the increase in tourist flows is only the meaningful warning of a future full of hope. That is where the transformation is based, like day and night, elections are very important. Without the vote in the SP none of the cities we have governed would have been transformed, just look at Shkodra where the vote against the SP has not brought any of the positive changes that deserve the cradle of history and culture in which Albanian figures were born, on the contrary the vote against the SP in Shkodër has created a mediocrity of a political force, it has become one of the capitals of the country in the image of immobility. Today, our country is negotiating EU membership and has managed, after years with a burden of crises, to enable the historic increase of the average salary.
