A video filmed by a sailor on the day of the shipwreck in Greece has changed the entire version of the story constructed by the Greek authorities.

From the 20-second view, it can be seen that the ship was filmed at sunset, where it comes to two conclusions regarding the weather conditions.

First: the weather conditions are excellent and the sea is completely calm, therefore an optimal situation that would certainly have made a well-planned rescue operation feasible.

Second: the fishing boat is practically still, barely moved by the current, and not moving much as claimed by the Greek coast guard in an official document, which explains that a patrol boat from Crete connected with the migrant boat at around 10 p.m.: 40 and followed it at a distance continuing steadily until 1:40, twenty minutes before the drowning which occurred about 2 o’clock.

The footage therefore appears to confirm the fishing vessel in distress, as reported earlier in the morning by the distress call, which had received calls for help via a satellite phone on board. .

Finally, it can be seen that a small floating load has been pulled from the fishing vessel, with a rope, probably with water and food supplied by the commercial vessel, which was asked to approach by the Greek rescue station. However, they are the only images available before the shipwreck. A few hours later, in the dark, that fishing boat would sink and the 600 people inside would be in danger for their lives, so far 78 victims have been confirmed and hundreds are missing.
