Maine state police are investigating the deaths of two people in suspicious circumstances at a home in Brooklin, officials said Monday.

The Maine State Police are investigating two suspicious deaths in the Brooklin Coast.

The bodies, discovered Sunday afternoon, were taken to the state physician to determine identities and causes of death, said Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Shannon Moss.

According to Moss, there is no danger to the public.

The The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department, Maine State Police and Maine Warden Service participated in the investigation. The detectives declined to release further details.
