This is Gustavo Melgarejo, the employee of the Emerenciano Sena field and Marcela Acuña, who on Wednesday said he saw how the missing woman was entered in a van.

Gustavo Melgarejo (29), the landlord of Emerenciano Sena (58) and Marcela Acuña (51) and one of the seven arrested for the disappearance of Cecilia Strzyzowski (28) asked this afternoon to expand his investigative statement before the prosecutor in the case. This was confirmed to Clarín by judicial sources.

Melgarejo is the one who said on Wednesday that he saw Cecilia alive on Sunday, June 4, when they entered her “gagged” in the back of a truck in which César Sena (19), the young woman’s husband, was also detained and accused of femicide.

According to what judicial sources told Clarín, the prosecution agreed to Melgarejo’s request and towards the end of this afternoon took a statement from the employee of the piquetero leaders close to Jorge Capitanich.

Melgarejo’s words before the prosecutor in the Jorge Cáceres Olivera case led to new raids on Wednesday. One was in the Sena camp, located in the Campo Rossi area, on the outskirts of Resistencia and 15 kilometers from the clan’s home.

The operation began around 9 in the morning and lasted until the afternoon. As Clarín was able to find out, the rakes yielded negative results.

There is a pig’s shop set up there, and the fear among the prosecutors is that it was the place where they sought to dispose of the girl’s body, whose disappearance marks 12 days this Wednesday.

Later there was a new operation in the Villa Itatí neighborhood of Resistencia.
