This was said by Jorge Cáceres Olivera after the last round of statements on Friday. An economic motive would have been the beginning of the fight that ended with the murder.

After a round of statements that lasted until shortly before 10:00 p.m., prosecutor Jorge Cáceres Olivera affirmed that the investigation into the femicide of Cecilia Strzyzowski leads to the fact that the murder took place at the home of the Sena clan and that the three members of the family, Emerenciano, Marcela Acuña and César, participated in killing the young woman.

This was stated to the press after testimonial statements this Friday, where Fabiana González, a Sena collaborator, and Gustavo Obregón, González’s husband and family personal driver, passed by.

“I think there was an altercation at home. Obviously they are hypotheses, but the investigation comes from there,” he told the press, at the same time that he spoke of an economic motive. That is to say, that they had a fight and that “they get out of hand.”

The prosecutor also added that he considers that all the detainees “are responsible for the disappearance and subsequent death of Cecilia” to different degrees, although he did not rule out adding more people in the future if the investigation is carried out in this regard.

Regarding the participation of César, Cecilia’s ex-husband, the prosecutor said that “it must be defined.” But he did confirm that the three Sena were responsible and that everything happened at the home of Santa María de Oro, the house where Emerenciano lived.

On the other hand, the prosecutor maintained that in the next week they will have results of the different expertise that they carry out. In addition, he confirmed that a forensic anthropology team from the Judiciary of Córdoba will join the work.

The objective is to carry out the anthropological study of fossil bone remains that were found on the Emerenciano farm to determine if they are of interest to the cause.
