It was one of the key days in the case investigating the alleged femicide of Cecilia Strzyzowski, and that is why it started very early. At five in the morning, and in a period of two hours, the three members of the Sena clan went through the prosecutor’s office located in the center of Resistencia, where they were notified of the evidence that the Special Prosecutor Team (EFE) had to request the preventive detention until the oral trial begins.

This is a total of 198 tests, which include a dossier of elements such as security cameras, confidential identity witnesses, biological tests and cell phone movements, perhaps one of the strongest clues to help reconstruct what happened at the house of the Seine on Friday, June 2, the date Cecilia is believed to have been murdered.

It is a body of almost 600 pages, but it is in constant movement. Just yesterday, 200 more pages were added and key elements still need to arrive. In the last hours, DNA samples were taken from Gloria Romero, Cecilia’s mother, to compare with the different evidence that appeared, such as the remains in the Tragadero river or the blood stains in the double bed that the Sena discarded.

The transfer of Emerenciano Sena, César Sena and Marcela Acuña was a lightning operation, which was carried out almost at closing time in the morning to avoid crowds and possible riots from neighbors who wanted to come and insult the three picketers accused of the crime.

On Wednesday, when it was their turn to read the news to the other four defendants, the day closed with a shower of insults and minor incidents about the departure of Fabiana González (36). A stronger rejection was expected on the Sena.

César was the first to arrive, at 6:30. He spent half an hour in the prosecutor’s office. Emerenciano and Marcela entered shortly after and left at 7:30. The three wore helmets, bulletproof vests and were accompanied by strong guards. “An anti-press operation,” described it as Ricardo Osuna, the lawyer for the youngest of the Senas.

None of the three gave a statement to prosecutors. César, targeted for triple aggravated homicide, is the only one of the defendants who did not testify at the time. Emerenciano had said that he did not see anything, and Marcela Acuña spoke of “a lump, like a body” when she had to testify, although neither of them answered questions.

Osuna had anticipated that at the moment his client did not plan to speak. After the arrest, the young man was transferred to the mayor’s office of Villa Barberán, in Resistencia.

The strongest hypothesis that is handled is that the three members of the Sena clan are equally responsible for the death of the young woman, regardless of who was the material author. For prosecutors, it is indistinct. She was killed by all three.

“We have not determined the modality that they implemented. Cecilia entered in the morning hours. We reduced the time slot from 12.16 to 13.01. We estimate that the fatal outcome occurred at that time. The only three people at that time are the Sena,” he said. prosecutor Jorge Cáceres Olivera in an interview with Rivadavia, hours after reading the accusation to the three.

Olivera said that the three were “indifferent” and with a “gaze into space” at the time of the reading. “You try to get inside these people’s heads to find out what leads them to commit these criminal acts. Sometimes those questions don’t have an answer,” she said.

The prosecutor dismissed the possibility of waiting for a revelation from the Sena, which would help reconstruct what happened and the motives behind the crime. “It’s going to be difficult to get a confession from them, because they receive the biggest penalty in the Penal Code. But we managed to collect the most important evidence these days,” he commented.

“More information on the seizure of electronic devices remains pending, if the skeletal remains are from Cecilia. There is still a long way to go. Things were done well, we are satisfied with the investigation,” he said, highlighting the work of the Chaco police , after several weeks where they were questioned and the intervention of federal forces was requested. “Without them today we would not have a file,” he remarked.

The time of death is based on the records of the security cameras that show the entrance and exit of the different members of the clan from the house. It is there when Cecilia enters at 9:15, together with César, at the home of Santa María de Oro 1460. Her parents arrive just at noon. In that period, the four of them are in the house.

“We are convinced that there are three material authors of the act and there are four concealers,” reinforced Fabián Améndola, one of the lawyers representing Cecilia’s family. He was around noon, at the door of the prosecutor’s office.

“According to the evidence we have had access to so far, the homicide occurred between 12 and 1 a.m. when only the parents and César were at the home. There are important elements to take this into account,” he said. loving her

The request for preventive detention also lightened the qualifications for the other four defendants, who were framed within the figure of “aggravated concealment.” In addition to González, José Gustavo Obregón (42), Gustavo Melgarejo (29) and Griselda Lucía Reinoso (41) appear. The new figure provides for penalties of between 1 and 6 years in prison. “It was an exaggerated qualification,” they evaluated Clarín from the team of lawyers of one of the four defendants.

On the other hand, as confirmed by Diario Norte, González is going to request house arrest since she has a two-year-old son who is still breastfeeding. Currently, the child is taken daily to the Don Santiago mayor’s office, where she is detained, so that she can breastfeed.

With the preventive orders already issued, the prosecutors will continue working to collect evidence that will allow the case to be brought to trial, where a jury of twelve people must determine if the three Senas are guilty of having killed Cecilia.
