The series of cases began on the night of Tuesday the 2nd, when at the door of a relative’s house, in the Ludueña neighborhood, in the northwest area of Rosario, Kevin Leonel Villalba (31) was killed with eight bullets, when he was attacked by two men who were moving on a motorcycle.

In this case, it is investigated whether the victim was the target of the attack or if the shooting was directed at the façade of the house of the family member that the victim was visiting.

That same day, around 8:30 p.m., Ángel Faustino Coronel (39) left his home in the Empalme Graneros neighborhood to buy cigarettes at a kiosk and was attacked by unknown individuals who shot him nine times.

The victim was transferred to the area hospital, where the doctors verified that he had a bullet in the abdomen, four in the legs and another four in the chest area that caused his death on Wednesday morning.

The assailants ran away after the attack and boarded a car that was waiting for them nearby, in which they left the area.

Investigators are trying to establish whether the shooting, which also hit neighboring homes, was directed at the business premises where there were more than ten customers at the time, the sources said.

As a result of the murder of a Shell service station worker, and in order to make the fact visible, the Rosario beach union reported that it will carry out a strike between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. this Thursday.

“The objective of the measure of force is to make the tragic situation visible and clarify that our co-worker was an innocent victim of a shooting attack,” the General Secretary of the Service Station Beach Players Union, Miguel Benitez.

An hour later, around 8:30 p.m. last night, in the Godoy neighborhood, in the north of Rosario, Micaela Soledad Gómez (28) was shot in the face, while a 33-year-old neighbor from the block was killed. wounded and managed to survive.

Mauro Villamil was murdered in Rosario when he left his house to buy vegetables for a barbecue. He is the 104th victim of violence in the city of Santa Fe so far this year.

According to the first investigations, two men who were riding a motorcycle opened fire against the facade of several houses located along that block, after which they escaped at high speed.

At the same time, in the southern area of Rosario, a man was executed with a shot to the head on the sidewalk of a grill located on 27 de Febrero and Circunvalación avenues, in the Godoy neighborhood.

The victim, still unidentified and who used to frequently go to the store to ask for leftover food, was surprised by two people who were traveling aboard a motorcycle and who, without saying a word, shot him at point-blank range.

The shooters escaped along Circunvalación avenue at high speed, although they collided with a car and abandoned their stolen Honda CG Titán motorcycle to continue their escape on foot.

The armed violence continued this Thursday morning with a double crime discovered in the Santa Fe town of Villa Gobernador Gálvez, bordering to the south with Rosario.

There the Police found on a rural dirt road located on S 22 street, the corpses riddled with shots of two still unidentified young people.

According to forensic experts from the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC), the bodies had multiple gunshot wounds in different parts of their bodies, the sources added.

Likewise, the investigators found at least 15 served pods in the place, so one of the hypotheses of the crime is that the executions occurred in that place, where there are no security cameras.

As a result of the events, the mayor of Rosario, Pablo Javkin, demanded from the authorities of the provincial Ministry of Security “greater financial resources for more police deployment.”

“This can’t take any more. We don’t have to put up with this mistreatment, otherwise the security forces will transfer us to us,” Javkin said at a press conference.
