A detained man was rescued by a commando group armed with rifles as he was taken to a medical center in a Buenos Aires Penitentiary Service (SPB) vehicle in Campana.

According to the police, it is Juan Manuel Colauti (46), who has a previous conviction for robbery.

This all happened around 9:30 a.m. this Wednesday at the corner of Belgrano and Liniers, where a Ford Ranger truck carrying at least four criminals intercepted the SPB truck that was taking the prisoner for a health check.

After stealing the agents’ weapons, they rescued Colauti and fled along Route 6 towards Exaltación de la Cruz aboard the Ranger, whose first letters on the license plate are AF.
