US navy plane crashes in Mediterranean Sea after coaching mishap, ‘no indication’ of hostile exercise

An American navy plane crashed Friday night time within the japanese Mediterranean Sea, U.S. European Command confirmed.

In a press launch, U.S. European Command (EUCOM) stated that the unspecified plane was conducting a coaching operation and “suffered a mishap and went down.”

The group, which is chargeable for U.S. navy operations throughout Europe, parts of Asia and the Center East, the Arctic and Atlantic Ocean, stated that they will “definitively say” that the mishap was “purely associated to” coaching workout routines and that there are “no indications of hostile exercise.”

It isn’t clear what service department the personnel concerned are part of, or particulars in regards to the plane or its crew.

EUCOM additionally didn’t present any extra info relating to what number of crew have been aboard the plane, saying that, “out of respect for the households affected, we won’t launch additional info on the personnel concerned at the moment.”
