The serious footage posted today shows the moments when a young TV presenter lost her senses in the studio during a live broadcast in Colombia.
Model and actress Elianis Garrido, 35, was co-hosting the TV show ‘Lo Sé Todo’ on March 16 when she suddenly appeared to be unable to breathe and collapsed on the studio floor.
The former model is first seen moving awkwardly in her chair as she stood next to co-host Ariel Osorio.
As the woman looks increasingly uncomfortable, she tries to stand up and walk away from the cameras, covering her mouth with her hand.
Moments later she collapses from her chair as several members of the set try to come to her aid.
The network was forced to go to commercials to check on their ailing host.
The presenter left for the clinic while Osorio informed viewers that his colleague had suffered “breathing problems”.
He turned to Garrido’s mother, saying: “Everything is fine, Eli is very well, she will call you soon.
Such scenes have been seen surprisingly often in recent years while no official reason has been given by experts.
Garrido is no longer seen on television, but at the weekend she made a post on social networks where she thanked her followers for their support.
“Thank you for your messages of support”, she wrote, while local media said that she is recovering well, without giving the cause of the health crisis.
