The U.S. Navy Academy at West Level has made the choice to take away the “Obligation, Honor, Nation” motto from its mission assertion.

In a letter despatched to college students and supporters, Superintendent Lt. Gen. Steve Gilland mentioned the phrase, which was first added to the mission assertion in 1998, would get replaced with the phrases, “Military Values.”
