North Boulevard partially enabled due to kidney patients

Patients with kidney diseases They protested this Monday and took over the northern boulevard, near the Honduran Institute of Social Security (Ihss), in San Pedro Sula.

The demonstration began early in the morning at the main gate of the Social Security, However, the kidney patients extended the intake towards the boulevard, on the road that leads to the center of the city.

The protesters placed tires along the pavement, obstructing the passage of vehicles in the area. However, the National Police was present to talk to the protesters and suspend the takeover of the boulevard.

After several minutes, the police officers reached an agreement and partially enabled the road, despite this, a huge traffic congestion has formed, so drivers are asked to take alternate routes to get to their work centers.

Kidney patients demand compliance with agreements, better healthcare, specialist doctors and medications. Also, they reported to the media that they are treated with obsolete machines.

From 6:00 in the morning the kidney patients began the demonstration at the Social Security of San Pedro Sula.
