Activist Fabrice Lerestif said the protesters will not give up their efforts of several months.

“We do not withdraw as it would not be fair, it would be an insult to all those who have been fighting for months and have lost working days due to strikes”.

“We want to send the message that we don’t give up, we want Macron, Ms. Borne and Mr. Dussopt together with their supporters to feel the weight of this counter-reform,” said Lerestif to the AFP network.

“Mélanie Le Couviour, care worker said: “I love my job and I do it with passion, but I’m afraid I won’t have the strength to do it anymore and it will bring institutional abuse against me. I want to do my job under the right conditions and not until I’m 64 years old.”
